What the 35 achievements actually ask you to do
The list rewards several different kinds of progress. Five entries are broad counters such as firearm kills, melee kills, explosive kills, total zombies killed, and items picked up. Another group records Account level, one Responder's level, survival matches with the same Responder, or the levels of three Responders at once. Those are not interchangeable bars: read the wording before you choose what to grind.
Nine named maps have their own clear achievement, and each official condition specifies Normal difficulty or higher. A separate entry asks you to finish the Tutorial. Assignments, map clears, and the Tutorial are useful early progress, but one does not substitute for another. The official page also has several conditions that ask you to help, heal, revive, or share with other players.
The table paraphrases all 35 official Steam conditions. Achievement names stay in their official English form so they are easy to match in Steam. No rarity percentage is a difficulty score: global completion rates change with player history and do not tell you how hard a challenge will feel in your current lobby.
A route that avoids wasted runs
First, finish the Tutorial and take ordinary Assignments while learning the map flow. This clears the direct onboarding task and begins the four-Assignment counter without requiring a special build. During normal play, pick up useful items, use firearms and melee as the situation calls for, and let total kills accumulate instead of forcing every counter in one run.
Second, keep map achievements separate from personal progression. The nine map clears only count at Normal or above. Pick a map your squad knows, agree who handles the objective and who watches the route, and treat a successful extraction as the practical finish line. Our map and objective notes can help you learn the location before you commit a higher-difficulty run.
Third, make a short list of achievements that need a coordinated squad: item sharing, healing, revives, Pacifist, or no-gun extraction. Ask teammates to leave space for the relevant interaction and state the condition before the run. The Steam text is concise; it does not specify hidden exceptions, so avoid assuming that a menu action or an assist will count unless the achievement appears.
Fourth, batch one-match weapon challenges only when the right weapons and a suitable route line up. Cowboy Action Shooter needs three weapon totals in the same match; General Contractor needs kills from six named melee tools in one match; Nice Shootin', Tex requires a clean Model 13 sequence without a reload or weapon swap. Separate attempts make the checklist easier to diagnose if one condition is missed.
Finally, leave the broad lifetime and level goals to normal play. Account level 50 and 100 are distinct from Responder level 50 and 100. All-Star Cast is about having three qualifying Responders at the same time, while Veteran follows one Responder through ten survived matches. Do not discard a useful run just to force a counter that can continue later.

The nine map achievements
Steam names Broadway, Hospital, Raven Rock, Lewiston, Pottsville, Power Plant, Flooded, Night of the Living Dead, and Lighthouse. Each unlock asks for a completion on Normal or higher; an easier-difficulty finish does not satisfy the wording. The list does not prescribe a specific class, weapon, squad size, or order, so those should not be presented as official requirements.
Choose the next map by familiarity and team readiness, not by a guessed hidden difficulty ranking. Before starting, confirm the selected location and difficulty in the live game, then keep the team focused on completion. If an achievement does not register, compare the actual result to the exact map and difficulty condition first.

How to handle strict one-match challenges
These challenges have a different failure mode from cumulative counters: leaving, switching gear, or splitting attention can invalidate an attempt. For Nice Shootin', Tex, start with the Model 13 equipped and avoid reloading or changing weapons until six headshot kills are recorded. The official text says six kills in one match; it does not give a time limit.
For Cowboy Action Shooter, plan the Model 13, 1873 Lever Action, and DB12 totals before the match ends. For General Contractor, carry a simple tick list for Mallet, Small Wrench, Large Wrench, Hammer, Crowbar, and Sledge. Confirm each item name in the live inventory because localization or balance updates can change how a label appears.
Treat the no-gun extraction and Pacifist as separate goals. The first says to get extracted without firing a gun. Pacifist says to complete any Objective map without using a weapon or getting a kill. The broader Pacifist wording means a gun-free run alone is not enough; follow the written condition and avoid adding an unverified exploit.
Solo, co-op, and account progress
Some counters can progress during ordinary solo practice, but the official list explicitly asks for interactions with other players: share items 50 times, revive fallen allies 10 times, and heal other players 20 times. A solo-only plan cannot satisfy those literal teammate actions. Use the solo guide for route planning, then join a squad for achievements whose text requires another player.
Keep the two progression tracks distinct. Expert Responder and Legendary Responder name a single Responder reaching level 50 or 100; All-Star Cast asks for three Responders at level 50 or above simultaneously. Getting The Hang of This and Apocalypse Hobbyist instead refer to Account level 50 and 100. If a milestone seems stuck, check the noun in the Steam condition before changing your play plan.
The credit achievements are lifetime totals: earn 100,000 credits for Easy Come ... and spend 100,000 credits for ... Easy Go. The description does not say the credits must be held at once. Do not delay a useful purchase simply to preserve a balance unless the live achievement condition changes.
If a Steam achievement does not appear
Use Steam's official achievement page as the source of truth for the listed name and unlock text. Check that the selected map, difficulty, match boundary, weapon, and teammate action all match the condition. A cumulative counter and a one-match challenge can look similar in a progress menu but have different requirements.
After a valid run, allow the game and Steam to finish synchronizing before repeating a difficult attempt. If it still does not appear, save the match context and compare it with the official wording or current developer notes. This guide does not infer an unlock from a clip, a third-party checklist, or a player's percentage.
No More Room in Hell 2 achievement FAQ
How many achievements are in No More Room in Hell 2?
Steam's official global achievement page lists 35 achievements for the game. We checked that count on October 2, 2026; platform lists and future updates should be checked separately.
Which No More Room in Hell 2 map achievements need Normal difficulty?
All nine named map-clear achievements in the current Steam list say Normal or higher: Broadway, Hospital, Raven Rock, Lewiston, Pottsville, Power Plant, Flooded, Night of the Living Dead, and Lighthouse.
Can I unlock every achievement solo?
Not from the literal Steam conditions: item sharing, healing other players, and reviving fallen allies explicitly require other players. Some other objectives may be attempted alone, but this page does not promise that every mode or run supports every unlock.
Are Account level and Responder level the same achievement track?
No. Steam lists separate achievements for Account levels 50 and 100 and for one Responder reaching levels 50 and 100. All-Star Cast adds a separate requirement for three level-50 Responders at the same time.
Does Steam's list prove the console trophy list is identical?
No. This guide documents Steam's official list only. Check the relevant platform's live achievement or trophy page before assuming a matching count or condition.
Use the official list as your checklist
Steam's 35 entries reward a mix of maps, cumulative play, progression, teamwork, and controlled one-match attempts. Work through map and support achievements deliberately, let broad counters build during regular play, and keep separate notes for Account and Responder levels. Conditions were checked October 2, 2026; revisit the official list after a game update.
